Call for papers
Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy invites papers for an anthology on The International Dimension in Entrepreneurship Education in our series on thematic approaches, pedagogies, and didactics within entrepreneurship education.
Content
We expect that the contributions to this anthology will represent a wide range of articles addressing the theme The international dimension in entrepreneurship education. The articles could for instance help answering some of the following questions:
- How do students learn (differently) when the international dimension is included?
- What pedagogical examples and experiences are valid and what are the extended values?
-
In which way do a heterogeneous gathering of international students support the dynamics, learning, and enterprise of the class?
-
How do institutions and the learning eco-systems best accustom and adapt to “internationalization”?
- Is it possible to combine “an international curriculum” with a practical approach, i.e. a connection to “the real world” (Venture Cup, business angels, camps etc.)?
- What are the cultural challenges and are the prerequisites of the students sufficient?
- What are the incentives for students to go abroad – and are they supported by faculty and systems?
We hope to receive reflective and analytical contributions as well as good examples of how to handle and tackle this type of classes and education. Especially hands-on descriptions and specific ways of how to implement the international dimension when planning and executing a specific course are welcome.
Format and deadlines
We would like this anthology to follow in the path of the two already published volumes (our anthologies are free of charge and can be acquired by sending a mail to Karin la Cour). That means a maximum of 10 pages of each article, written in a straightforward language and that the dissemination of the article’s core issues is clear and understandable for the readers.
Contributions can be written in Danish, Swedish, or English.
